We have nicely asked these people to stop calling. They have nearly called every night for the last few months. When my husband just asked how to get them to stop calling, CDC told him it is a word that we could use to get them to stop calling. However, she could not tell him this secret word! We just have to figure out what that word is. Are you kidding me!!!? Stop calling!!!!!!!!! There is your magic words!!!
I received a call from this number. The caller said it was on behalf of the CDC for their immunication survey. Skeptical, I hung up. Then I searched the CDC website. They do indeed conduct a phone survey. They say the number is randomly selected. They say if the number can be matched to an address, then a letter will be mailed. All the same, I didn't care for the call.
I too have received many calls from this number. I finally answered after reading the posts on here. After the girl introduced herself, stated she was DOING A SURVEY ON BEHALF OF THE CDC, about immunizations on children under the age of 4, my number was randomly picked, and if I was over the age of 17. I told her yes I am over the age of 17, to please remove my number from their database because an questions they ask regarding immunizations was in violation of HIPPA Laws. She said okay and thank you, and hung up! .
Get a whistle and blast them next time they call. You may have to repeat a couple of times. It's the best magic word substitute. Airhorns work too.
Sorry to burst your bubble. Not a legitimate number. The DNR does not register immediately, true. But telemarketers know better than to keep calling if you asked them to not be bothered any more. The CDC does NOT hang up when you are trying to say you do not want to participate. And for your information, this is NOT as self righteous reply. You need to work on you manners. And maybe educate yourself, LOL
I just blocked the number since I didn't recognize it
The number 312-578-7015 has been calling me lately. I could hardly understand what they wanted. I told them to not call me anymore. That of course did nothing to discourage their calls. I do not have time to call their number and hangup.
Message said it was center for disease control conducting a survey on childhood immunizations. Your tax dollars at work.
I don't answer any call that I don't know the number. I am tired of all these calls. I don't care who they are or what they want. I'm done. If they want to pay my cell phone bill I will be glad to answer. Until then, forget it!! My "ignore" button will get a real workout!!
