It was a woman who claimed to be the CDC, stating my number had been computer generated and she wanted to do a survey on children in the household under the age of 6 and which immunizations they had had? I stopped her right there and stated the computer screwed up as I had NO children here. She demanded to speak with someone over 18 and in charge of the household. I informed her I own the house, am over 18, live alone and my voice does not sound like a child. She asked if I was sure I was over 18? I informed her I was nearly 60 and knew there were no children in my home. She finally took the hint and hung up.Angrily, I called the number back and was informed by an automated answering service I had reached the National Immunization Survey. It said nothing about the CDC.

I am on the DNC List, please do not call me. They called me last night on my cell phone.

the do not call list doesn't work for cell phones, you can try but they don't hold to the promise

since 11-2-13 I keep getting calls from the CDC asking who is immunized in our house I hung up on them twice. My wife accidentally answered the first time claiming we were random. Now they keep calling and bothering can they show up at our house and if so what defense do I have to not allow in or answer them. They claim we were chosen at random. I won't answer then, I was gonna try call blocking them, if they show up. they've called at least twice a day in the day /evening since saturday the 2nd, thats 10x so far… what recourse do I have, I chose not to answer the phone I don't want them to show up when I'm not home which is likely with my wife who may not know what to do, frankly I don't know how to turn them away can I request a warrant or what?

Just put "their" number on a porn / credit fix / or any other popup website... and let them sell "their" number to other telemarketers. They can call each other.

Trust me, it doesn't work for landlines either!!!! They'd find a way to make contact if they had to use smoke signals!!! I hate being harassed by nonsense phone calls!!!

They cannot be prosecuted for the call. They are a government organization, the Center for Disease control, doing a survey to try to make sure they can keep people in the country safe from things like H1N1. They call all across the country. Just take the time to answer and tell them that you do not want to participate and they remove you.
