I didn't answer. After googling I think it's legit. It is from NORC (National Opinion Research Center) at University of Chicago, calling on behalf of the CDC asking about kids' immunization.
He has called so many times I lost count. Just breathes letting you know he is there. Had his number blocked.
An older woman calls from this number, i let it go awkwardly silent. She says, Hello? Hello?I breathe deep and ask grandma what she is wearing. She hangs up. I call her back and ask her again what is she wearing?She hangs up.. You have your fun and I have mine. (it turns out the call is from the university of Chicago) I never found out what they wanted. Im going to call them back every hour on the hour for the next 13 days.

This is not a University research project. They are calling to obtain confidential information pertinent to children's social security numbers. Initially, they indicate that they are conducting a study regarding immunizations, then they try to obtain children's savings account and college plan account numbers.If they call, report it to the FBI.

Person is telling me he is from Cox and that Cox has special offers. I asked about the offers and person saying he needs my Cox, forgot ? to verify that I had a Cox prescription. I hang up!
