Another scam using a spoofed number. CID: "IPSOS" This call could be coming from anywhere in the world, and has a good chance of being done over internet protocol (IP). If you don't already have one, buy a good call blocker and learn how to use it. I blocked the 312 area code some time ago so all I see is the incoming number and Caller ID on my phone, but the blocker stops it after that. Still, the basic rule still applies that you don't answer if you don't know the number being displayed, even if it's local. Scammers/Spammers are everywhere. Also, don't give any personal information of any kind to anyone unless you call them and know who you're talking to. Even then, it might be better to just go to their shop/office and meet them in person.

Caller ID shows IPSOS as caller. Googled IPSOS and it is a market research and consulting firm. They probably want you to do a survey over the phone.

Callback leads to a seemingly legitimate market research company that does telephone surveys.

Multiple calls from these clowns. No messages left. Now blocked

At least three robocalls in two days. Blocked by junk call blocker. If they keep it up, I'll add to reject list at phone company level, which makes them disappear entirely from my phone.

Calling daily. They are now blocked.

Got a call from it today. Added to blacklist. Hung up, no message.

They've tried twice (so far) this evening, no message. We don't pick up crap calls. Caller ID is IPSOS, which is a marketing and advertising company.

I received a call from 312-775-1287 and did not leave a message. I called their number back cause I was curious and got a recording describing what they did, marketing and research. Time to block that number.

Yesterday (2/2/16) I received calls from 312-775-1287 at 9:00PM and again at 9:30PM, I have previously received calls with this phone number before. The caller ID says it is from IPSOS which is supposed to be a survey, marketing company. Thankfully the call blocker I purchased on the internet, has taken care of blocking these calls from the dirt bags trying to take advantage of unsuspecting people. These jerks need to be fined big time, if they can be hit in the pocket maybe they will stop this crap.
