313-355-5255 called me 3:13PM (AZ time) 12/30/14 ... "The FBI reports a home break in every 15 seconds . .. " then into a pitch for a "free" alarm sys w/ "free" installation (quite sure even if legit there would be $$ to 'monitor' it)classed in my notes as Al Sys BS
Got a call today and my caller ID said Illegal Scam. I never answer unknown numbers but it is so frustrating to get call after call from unwanted places. I am consistantly clearing my answering machine from unwanted calls. Some leave a message, others just hold on for a minute and then hang up. The telephone companies which is a paid service should be able to stop these calls to people at no cost to them. Instead they get to charge you more money or have you purchase another item to block the calls. The average citizens are always taken advantge of by big bussiness and or scam artist. We as consumers deserve better and their should be somthing we can do as a whole to get phone companies to recitfy this situation with no cost to you. They are now making money from you and the scammer. Every thing is a racket in todays world and it is just sickining
Just as others have stated "a friend or family member" referred them to me for a FREE home security system. This is the second call of this type to my cell phone within the past hour, but from different numbers. Because they're coming to my cell phone I blame Verizon for not figuring out how to stop this for it's customers. I'll bet they could if they wanted to!
Call at 1:32PM local time. The caller name actually displays as "Illegal Scam". Somehow, I'm pretty sure that this isn't what the Card Services people wanted to display... but I find the 'truth in advertising' refreshing and amusing.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
Wellcare never calls you, they send out notices. This is second call I’ve got from two separate phone numbers stating they are Wellcare. Scam
