Just got a call from this number from a person with an Indian accent. Wanted to know about my car insurance. He had a lot of personal information about me. Never did find out what he was up to before I hung up on him. He called back once and I shut him off real quick. Does anyone know what the scam is????
These b**star*s are from India or Pakistan. As soon I heard him ask for me by my jumbled up name, I said 'You are Mader Chod' and that really ticked him off! I enjoy needling telemarketers and ruining their day. After that i blocked the number on my cell phone and saw 8 or 10 calls blocked from the same number within a span of 5 minutes.So, you should also try the same phrase. Sad the FTC has been unable to punish these crooks and companies like Vonage and others dole out telephone numbers without verifying identify or intent.
A person with an Indian accent called asking my information regards insurance. Even told me to shut my f#$%@*g mouth when I said I wasn't giving any info.
