Me, too. I posted my resume on several sites, but my phone number was not included. The only non-mainstream website I posted with that definitely works with a company doing telemarketing (in their case, clearly the whole setup is to get people to call in so they can be contacted via robo-calls by companies selling educational items, and this group is called Gigats. I recommend sticking with the knowns like CareerBuilder.com and other reputable sites. P.S. With Gigats, at the end of their hard-sell tactics, they transfer you to someone who at the end reads you something asking if you will receive calls from an automatic dialer. I said no, but I feel bad for those who said yes.

My wife accidentally signed up for a Disney Cruise contest and now I get more than twenty calls a day from multiple numbers including this one.

Annoying

Get Mr Number on your cell phone. It can block unknown numbers such as this one.

Use both state & federal "do not call" lists, then keep log of these phone #s & results. Texas has harassment laws...check whatever state you are in at the time you receive calls in case you need to turn them over to authorities. Also, be sure to use "in private" browsing when on internet - even for such innocent research as pricing car insurance - that's where they found me.

Just was woken by a guy with an Indian accent saying I had filled out an application for the "Auto Insurance Network". I have to take my son to the doctor so was really pissed. I demanded to know who it was as I had NOT filled out any such thing and needed to report this for fraud and he said, Isn't this. . . . .and then he started spouting all kinds of private information about me "Isn't your email. . . . and your address. . . .and of course he already also has my phone. VERY CREEPY. I have supposedly security against this sort of thing so I just don't know. And I don't know what to do about blocking this -- they already have info about me. It never happened on my cell before, although I used to get calls for my deceased son in law until I blocked the calls. I called me back, he said , Hi (knew my name again) andhesaid he couldn't tell me any any thing about HOW or from WHO he got my application. I don't know what to do. . . . .

same. Got the Indian guy. My daughter answered, asked him to put her on the dnc list. He told her to "[***] off" and then hung up on her. Wow! seriously professional people.

This company refused to take me off their calling list even when I said I'd contact authorities

I called backed after they didnt answer 1st time and asked if i could get some indian [***]!
