First off 90% of debt collectors are NOT nice. They are rude, inconsiderate and borderline hostile towards who they are calling. You may be the exception and that is commendable. But it is rarely the norm.
jb, a civilized person would never be a debt collector in the first place. There are so many other occupations out there and you chose one that is lower than a snakes belly. It must give you a "high" to chase after people with overdue medical bills and can barely feed and house themselves. You should be ashamed.
I am tired of this debt collector calling me & I am trying to pay on my own so please I do not want them to call me any more
3 calls today.....googled to find out they are affiliate with Verizon as their collection agent...I have been with us cellular for 19 years now and never Verizon....leave me alone...never did answer their calls or return them.
Caller ID said CBE. No Message. I never answer unknown numbers. I have a relatively new phone number. Feel sorry for the poor soul who previously had it. He must be in seriously in debt.Thanks to all of you for the information.I am going to block them. If you use FIOS you can too. Little bit tricky to figure out, but if I can you can too. Also certain Panasonic phones have the capability to block them.
Multiple calls and usually there is no one there. Caller ID says it's the CBE Group. A debt collection company. I have no debt and want the calls to stop.
They keep calling...day after day, sometimes 3-4 times per day. I finally answered and was put on hold for a representative. They told me they were a debt collection agency looking for someone with a name we have never heard before. I told them they had a wrong number and they said they would not call again. Seven calls later; I once again waited for a representative and told him the same thing. He said it must not have been his office that I spoke with before and when I asked how many offices they have, he hung up!We do not owe anything to any debt collections and they can't even call the person they are looking for...they are just fishing!!

Saying postal redelivery unit when called. What?
I didn't accept the call and they did not leave any voice message
I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
