Take my number off calling list

I've made someone reallly mad apparently, Just got a call from this # (321 304 9999 )about 5 minutes ago and where the name is suppose to be was. this: V10051610340141. Didn't answer, and seconds later it rang again, this time it said Unknown Name and the # was: 975915259, 9#s, not 10. Didn't answer that either. :o, This is the 9th call I've received today from #s like this but it will go on till 9 or so tonight. Seems I've really p'd someone in "phone power world" off? I this has been going on for months and there's no way to stop it as it's always different #s. It use to be just 4-5 but I answered once ( couldn't find my readers) but hung up quickly when no one had said anything for a second, realizing what I'd done and now its 12 to15 atleast a day. It does no good to call back, all I get is it's not a current #. From what I understand they buy huge blocks for #s all over and just robo call automatically. If they hear a human voice they answer but you can't call back most of the time as the # gets "cut" off and they are on to other #s. There was someone a couple of years ago that came forth and reported it all, I read the article one day when looking up one of these situations. It was really interesting (for them anyway) and miserable for the rest of us and no one knows what to do to help stop it all. The Government Do Not Call Registry hasn't been much help (typical government). These peope call me daily and I report them daily. Do what Doug says: Press the option to speak with a representative and then lay the phone down. This way, they get annoyed and will have to pay more for the phone call.

Called today, they don't answer. What's the point of the Do Not Call registry anyway?

They tried to tell me that I'm uneducated. I asked if they needed my credit card # and they said yes- and they call me uneducated. How stupid do they think we are and then she said she'd call tomorrow - are they nuts!

When one of these "representatives" calls to lower my interesr rate, I offer them a bit of advice..."Go get a real job" and I hang up.

That # called me [321-304-9999]....didn't see that Iris name, however. Just indicated it was a call from Florida.

The fools and thieves running this country are too busy to deal with this. The fools don't know what to do, and the thieves are busy trying to make a buck. Let's face it, we're on our own.

Caller ID said Florida. I don't let the machine answer, just let the fax answer. Normally don't call back.
