I got the same call but I missed it. I thought it was the company I applied with because there main office is out of state so I tried to answer it as soon as I could, made me jumble my phone around and miss it. Same thing with the call back non working number [***] pisses me off!!

Called my Land Line. It was a telemarketer. I immediately hung up. Blocked the number.

Called me and said he was from yahoo. Had my email address and all. Said people were complaining about me sending them emails, when I went to check on it he hung up...

Called me all morning from 4 different numbers and several unknown numbers. I counted up at least 10 calls this morning over 3 hours time. Never leaves a message and sometimes won't talk when I answer and he will hang up. These calls started coming in late November/early December 2015 and I'll go a few days with none and then boom...several in a day. Often if you call the numbers back you'll get a disconnected message or a Verizon no longer in service recording. Even when he does talk and want me to take a loan from him, I'll tell him that I'm not interested, lose my number and never contact me again, he'll say ok I'm very sorry. A few days go by and he's at it again. I block all the numbers he's called from, but he calls from a new one all the time making it hard to answer my phone at all anymore. He actually texted me after blocking his calls one day! He calls me by my name sometimes, but it's usually honey, dear etc. It's harassment at this point. I'm on the Do Not Call List and I've had the same cell number for at least 15 years and it would be a mess trying to change it with all of the business contacts I have accrued over the years. I'm at wits end over here...

Got a call from this number today. Said he was with "Geek Squad, in the Microsoft dept." calling because they were receiving error messages from my computer. I actually let him talk a little at first because I did just buy a new router from Best Buy and got Geek Squad coverage on it, but knew after a minute that it was a scam. I waited for him to say something like "we need to log into your computer", but instead he stammered through a script for a while and then tried to confirm if I was the primary user of my computer. So I just said "I don't have a computer." He asked didn't I have a computer or laptop, I said no, and he said okay and we hung up. Number blocked.

Missed the call. No message. Obviously a scam.

I just had a call from this number - a foreigner was trying to tell me he was from the US Government, and was authorized to tell me I received a grant of $9000+ dollars. When I asked for a number to call him back, he wouldn't/couldn't give me one!

Contact the FCC. They're using spoofed numbers.

Get this call and others from various numbers. I have gotten the Microsoft problem call, the you are getting free money you just need a green dot card , the Viagra. the capital one and someone trying to get my card, the fake IRS call ............ I don't give any info and have reported the green dot call to a federal agency as requested online when I looked for scams online. I told the Viagra guy to keep talking to me as I was having the call traced and the FBI should be knocking on his door any minute. He laughed I said you might want to look out your window and hung up on him. He hasn't called back.I agree mess with them maybe they will get the hint or get caught by giving someone his info by mistake.I have put fraud alert on my accounts and have a credit monitoring agency. Sick and tired of this crap. Someone needs to track these guys down !
