(323) 524-0755 was a male caller who stated that he wanted to give me $2000 dollars "free money" from the U.S Government. The only thing I needed to do was to give him my bank account # so that he could wire the money in. This had my SCAM alert going off so I hung up to phone. I also told him I was on the Do Not Call List but he didn't seem to care. Kept arrogantly trying to keep me on the phone.
Called and left no message. I mark all calls like this "junk" and save them in my phone, then when they call again I know what it is.
I just received a voicemail from this number, based out of Los Angeles, which is an automated voice telling me that my "Direct Express debit card has been locked, please press one to be directed to customer service to resolve this issue." I do not have a Direct Express debit card because I do not receive federal benefits. This is a scam call, phishing for debit card information.
This number called me. Saying I'd get free tickets to California which is where the number was traced. I laughed and told them where do they get there numbers? I'm 16. And they said "oh I'm sorry. You must be 22 to be eligible. But the convo continued. The lady called had a Indian accent. And she said "well you have a very lovely voice. And I think you sound hot. And I wanna know if we can maybe meet up where you live since you arent eligible to come here. And I kept laughing thinking this lady must be part of some kidnapping [***]. And she kept pushing and pushing to get my Facebook and my email address. And as a 16 year old the call was very uncomforting
I have received 4 different calls in 24 hours from gosh knows who. They don't leave a message and I haven't picked up, yet when I call back it says "call can't be completed" or "the verizon wireless number is unavailable." I did NOT apply for jobs online and I want this to stop. the 2 calls from yesterday only showed up 401-5 and 1(302)9. Not even full numbers. How do I make it stop.
Just got a call from this number. As soon as I hear the voice, I knew this was going to be entertaining. So, this idiot says, "You will be getting $9,100 to pay bills with." I was ready to mess with this idiot... I asked him if he knew my name, which obviously, he didn't. After that, he just hung up. Pick up the phone and mess with these idiots. Maybe, just maybe, they will stop if people learn not to fall for their crap and give THEM the runaround!!!
