The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others before they are cheated!

Perhaps but most likely they are buying it from someone. I never put my # on criagslist yet they call and know my name too.

just got called today, ofering 6% for life in APR on my "MASTER Credit Card" which one i asked? "the main one, your master credit card... wherever you have it Bank of America, Capital One, which ever works. Regardless of the Do Not Call List, our phones keep flooding up with telemarketers and bogus offers!

I was Mike Hower he wanted to lower my credit card interest rate he needed to have all my credit card information and social security number to get the ball rolling.

I appreciate this information available here. I also received this call earlier but was unable to answer but of course I research all numbers prior to returning; so now I know the real deal. If I take the call next tine, they will be in for it. Of course, I did a call back and the number is disconnected.

Press 1 and stay on the line.. Talked to someone not of this country.. When I told them I have no Credit Cards they hung up with out a word .. I don't have time for this rude $hit !!!!!! They have called me 4 times this week. Every time I try to speak to someone to tell them to stop calling they hang up on me before I can finish my sentence and then call back 30 minutes later!

I answered and they tell me I can lower my interest rate. I know it's a scam because I don't give out my cell to any of my credit card companies. I pressed "1" to speak to someone. When the lady answered she said hello and I asked to be removed from the calling list. She promptly hung up. I called the number back and a recording says the number is disconnected.
