called nothing said - i just left call on hold and also said nothing. the national do not call registry doesn't get involved with thesze types of calls. we need a high tech service ti unmask originak calling number so we can block it. we also should have unlimited blocking. why can't there be a law that once a spammer receives enough complaints some federal agency should block the business for havinf their phone and cable service disconnected.
Called me around 4:30 yesterday telling me I missed out while I was in Orlando (weird that I was in the Fall). Said I needed to rent through Avis/Hertz in order to get a free 5 day-4 night trip to Orlando. I hung up.

When you answer the phone they hang up. They are trying to see if the number is actually associated with a person or not. Most likely they will clone the number.
