I received a call from 1 (347) 541-0256 around 11:30 am on Friday, 5/8/2015. I did not answer the call, they did not leave a voicemail. After Google-ing the number, I came across this site and figured I would report my call. I was receiving calls of the "free vacation" scam nature a few times a week during the months of February and March, and each time I received a call, I blocked the number. Must be these folks got their dirty hands on my number, likely from the same source.
Forgot to mention that the caller ID showed as NY, USA. Google search indicated it was the Bronx.
It was around 11:30 a.m. and said hello twice, but they did not say anything. Then, they hung up. I did not call it back, but did look up the number on line and this post.
I got a call from this # while I was sleeping. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I am on the do not call list. ??? If it was someone I broke up with I would have recognized their #. I wish there was ado not call list for Xs!

When you answer the phone they hang up. They are trying to see if the number is actually associated with a person or not. Most likely they will clone the number.
