Yes, it's a scam. .... The real give away was when I called the number and it was answered on the 1st ring by someone with a heavy accent. .... The IRS picking up on the 1st ring by a live person? NO WAY!

I read about this tax scam. And got to experience the call this morning. Told to call 347-637-6194 . Don't respond.

Received an automated call "officer for the IRS final call as a lawsuit has been filed" These people need to be stopped. I pity those that fall for this lie.

Person calling my cell ,telling me that they have filed a law suit against me.This is a scam ! They are in connection with another scam number (979-270-6577)claiming to be with the US Treasury , stating I committed a federal criminal offense.

And yet we have here another attempt to scare the very being of me to believe that I owe the IRS money. Whether I do or don't, I am for certain officials will not contact me in this matter and by means of an automated robodialer2016 who addresses itself as "officer" Excellent try sir,perhaps next time you'll get through and we'll throw a few rupees your way.

Was wondering why my landline rang so many times today. Then heard the message that it was the IRS with a lawsuit against me. Yeah, right. These callers are scum.

Called me at home, said they were IRS and had filed a lawsuit against me. Message is poorly recorded, provides no specifics. Caller ID originating number was blocked ("Private Call"). 347etc is the number you are supposed to call back. I didn't. Scam.

I also received this message today-IRS filed a lawsuit against me. I am a tax attorney, and called mainly out of curiosity. The IRS does not call or send email - EVER. It uses mail, and occasionally a personal visit.They first said law offices of Dennis Anderson, then Jack Smith - IRS. I asked a question and they hung up. Block them.
