A woman with a thick accent said her name was Jenny calling from Microsoft Tech Support. I told her my computer was fine and she hung up.
Male voice, Indian(?) accent, claimed to be calling from MSFT about my Windows computer. I am a Macintosh & Linux user :-) -- said thanks, hung up and added to block list.Protecting tax payers from telephone scams another service that our oh, so expensive government is unable to provide, so you're on your own with this.
Called me said he was calling about my computer. I told him there's nothing I need done on my computer and hung up. Called back and said you son of a [***]. I said no your moms one. Kept calling back so I just turned my phone off.
same thing, heavily accented, pretending to be from Microsoft. explained it was a state computer and we had our own IT department and I would certainly transfer this number to them. weird, they hung up very quickly
Got a call from this number and didn't answer it. I always research an unknown number to see where it's from. I found these posts and decided to post my experience. I blocked the number and won't be getting any more calls.
