Just called and asked me to verify my address, asked me how many employees, asked me my phone number. When I pushed back they immediately hung up. He used the same [***] line of 'updating records for chamber of commerce'. Stupid [***].

Somebody with an accent called and wanted to know if this was my business number and that they were calling from the chamber of commerce.

This number 402-403-0068 just called a rude lady asking for updated information, when i asked who she was she said "the chamber of commerce"I asked from what location she hung up! Just another scam!

I believe this is a scam and that they're phishing for business information under the guise of "updating your business listing", most likely to try to open business lines of credit.

Can they really open lines of credit with only address, owner name and number of employees? Just wondering. I'm not sure thats Possible is it? They took my info and worried.

I didn't answer and they left no message. It must not be important.

This number called saying that they were the chamber of commerce. They asked for my address and said that they were updating my information.

Called AGAIN......I declined call and blocked number, and 3 minutes later they called from a different number. So glad our presidential canadates promise to put a stop to this stuff. Oh wait, they only send out illegal emails!

Called knew business name said they were the better business Bureau asked if I was still treasure when I told them to wait to speak with the owner they hung up.

Caller claims to be with American Chamber of Commerce, if you tell them you do not belong to that chamber they hang up. Fishing for company information and trying to get all they can
