I forgot to mention--if you are alreadiy doing business with a company, as I do, unfortunately, with Comcast, they are allowed to call you and the Do Not Call List does not apply. They can keep badgering you or have their flunkies like Convergyis bother you, trying to elicit more business from you.

Frankly, I'm glad they called because I received outstanding help from a CSR from Cigna's home delivery pharmacy and I wanted to give him the kudos he deserved. We are always so quick to complain when something goes wrong when we should be willing to give recognition to people who do their jobs well. It takes all of a minute or two to complete.

I have no problem doing survays for companies I CHOOSE to do busines with, I DO OBJECT to having my privet home number called during my dinner and time with family after a long day at work, only to ask if I like chucky or smooth Peanut butter! My son works in marketing and I have a good idea of how things work. I also know thatthese companies can PAY for focous groups.

Repeated calls from this number. I do not answer because others on line have said it's market research.

Thanks to this list, I now know who called at 6:30 last night. I saved the number in my cell for future reference and will let them know I don't want them to call agin.

For all you cell phone users... Ask your phone provider to block this number from your phone.It is a free service for most cell phone users and it will not count against your minutes anymore. That is what I had done and no more issue.
