Be pragmatic and proactive - block the calls on your handset if you can. Caller gets one ring and then a busy signal. These people ignore do not call lists, nobody follows up on complaints. FCC is way too busy.Sad that this turned into scrapping over caps. The fight was nearly as annoying as the calls :)
It is Convergys. They are a marketing research company. So you could get questions from any number of companies they may be representing. Why shouldn't they be required to verify against the "DO NOT CALL"? They are still calling you to make money.
Any calls can stopped. Just plug in to a fax set it to answer on3 to 4 rings that way if you have ID you can see if you know whos calling.If it unknown let it go in a couple times this happens it will go away
