Just got a phone call from this same number. Didn't answer. No message. The Do Not Call list certainly does a lot of good.

I received a couple of calls from this number on my cell phone. Finally tried to call it back - it is Convergys, which is a market research company. They are contracted by different other companies to do telephone surveys. If you call it back, you get a recording and they offer you the opportunity to leave your phone number to be removed. I did that - now it will be interesting to see if they actually stop calling.

These folks/scum are a complete nuisance and operate much like the typical tele-scammer,\

I received a call from this number at work. They asked if I had made a customer service call to Staples, which I did not. They asked who else may have called Staples and wanted to follow up on the call.

I am travelling overseas for the purposes of international business. I keep my US cell phone on for emergency purposes from people I know. Unfortunately, I was rudely awaken in the middle of the night by a phone call from 1-402-491-2800, which I understand is the telephone surveyor Convergys. This needs to stop.

I got a call from this number. I did not answer since I didn't know the answer. They leave no message.I am also on the DO NOT CALL Registry. I am so sick of these telemarketer calls. I now not only report the numbers here, but I also go to the DO NOT CALL registry and file a complaint there as well. They don't always catch and fine them because of ghost callers from India, Asia and God knows where. Sometimes they get lucky an catch these people.

got a call from this number which comes up as convergys corporation on my caller id. the caller claimed to be calling on behalf of UniCare insurance company. Mind you, they called me at 8:15 on a Saturday night....UniCare office does NOT work on weekends!! That was an automatic clue that it was a scammer. Of course I told them this, and then click. I called back just to see if anyone would answer, but all I got was a voicemail center. We are also on the national do not call list.

Got a call just before 9 pm and let it go to the answering machine. I had to look through a whole page of complaints about people who write in ALL CAPS to find that this was probably a customer satisfaction survey (which would be permitted under the Do Not Call List, but which I would probably choose not to participate in -- and the rest of the complaints were about people who do or don't participate in customer satisfaction surveys or conduct them).
