Scam, trying to collect your info to get tour identity

Called, said they were my bank, offered info on recent transactions and asked me to verify, only yes or no questions. Later found out that Equifax info had been leaked so I got worried and I called my bank and verified that their fraud department had actually called me.

My experience was the same as others, answered and got a burst of static and then it hung up. I looked up the number on this site and found these comments. I then called my bank directly and found that they use a fraud company out of Nebraska and they had listed my call as a hangup (?) I had made two transactions with my debit/credit card, one to China and a large one from Washington state and I figured that was the cause of the robo call. My bank stated that they would let the fraud company (that they use) know that the transactions were legit.

They won't stop calling me.

Scam, don't pick up.

They called to verify I placed an order on line, which I just did. It would not go through so I don't know if the bank already knows about this company I was ordering from. Apparently not a company I will be buying from again.
