This number is a Telus Number --- if you have set up an appointment for a move, new installation or a change of service they may be trying to contact you to confirm some of the above.If you live outside of the Area Code (like moi) you may be reluctant to answer (as I was) but in my case it was about a pending move and a scheduled installation.But the funny part in all of this was when I dialed the number, there was a message telling me that the nuber was out of service ..... ;~)
I am so upset about this. All day for months now 4033102255 has been calling me I have never been able to pick up the phone when it called and when I would call it back cause it left me no voicemail it would just be a busy tone. I was really starting to get paranoid about it. A co-worker suggested I google the number and I came across this. I am upset because I have been with Telus for years and in the past worked for them for 4 and a half years I feel this is so unprofessional that they couldnt call me themselves instead of having some other company call me like they did! I emailed to have the calls stop they better or I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.
I will add that I got a call from this number for a legitimate reason. They called with a reminder of a repair / installation appointment I have tomorrow. So, if you have some business with Telus, it may be legit coming from this number....
I received a call from that # today - it was Telus confirming an installation time & date
I received a phone call from what looked like Telus on my digital phone. 403-310-2255. Guy was telling me that I could pay what I pay now for internet but he can increase the speed a bit and something about virus software ( I couldn't make out his words very well he had an accent) but as soon as I heard that I knew something was off. I said no I like my service the way it is, I don't need to speed up my internet or change anything. he proceeded to say but we are offering you this deal etc...but I interrupted and said I am happy with the services, I was about to say ok thanks good bye but heard in the background someone say ok just say goodbye, as if people were listening to our conversation. he paused to listen than said okay mame thank you for your time etc. and hung up. be cautious about who calls your house.
