I need my home phone moved to the basement line as I have given up my batchelor suite, toa new tenant.Can this be done? How to stop this call and all other telemarketer calls?First, don't answer the phone unless you know who is calling. Sure it might be an emergency or something important but then they leave message.Second, never call back an unknown number. There are so many posts from people who just have to call back only to find the number is disconnected. What is it about our society that they feel the call must be returned? Also, when calling back they know when you are home giving them a time to call you.Third, never buy anything from a telemarketer. Doing so puts you on the sucker list and your number is sold to others which only increases the number of calls you receive.Fourth, if you hear of anyone buying from a telemarker feel sorry for them that no one else will talk to them and they are so desperate for human contact.If no one answers the calls or buys from them there is no reason to be in the business and that will result in fewer or no calls.
I was receiving calls from Telus at 403-310-2255. I dialed 0 and asked for the operator to direct me to someone at Telus that could stop these annoying repeat calls. She said to contact them at 310-2255 and ask to be taken off the lists. Now I am getting their calls from 855-235-7872 and I told them again to take me off their lists.
This number has called everday for over a week always between 1:30-2:30pm when most people are working and they never leave a message. I have been a Telus and Shaw customer and both companies have horrible customer service, unfortunately where I live there are no other options.
Shaw customer service SUCKS!! They treat their existing customers like crap. Deals only for new customers. I have started switching between the 2 every year....always getting the best deal and making them work for my business.
You should check your facts buddy! Shaw is strictly in Canada and does not outsource overseas. If you knew anything you would look this [***] up! There are telemarketers, but the are in house, located in Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. Get your [***] straight before you run your mouth!
