calls from same number how do you block from coming in?

we also got a call from this same # 406-961-5388 as well and wowi was researching the number and was shocked to see u guys r going through the same thing...everytime Ianswer they hang up and cant leave a message cause their mail box is full....gee's talk about people with no life there very sad !! we have stalkers everywhere

They call constantly and never leave a message but up to 5 times a day. when i call back, it says you cant leave a message. STOP CALLING ME DAMNIT! I have beeter things to do with my time than get harrassed by solicitors, I am trying to make a decent living out there and you guys just RUIN the whole idea of decency!

1st call from this number came this morning at 7:00 a. m. P.T.. I find it interesting that just because someone knocks on your door or rings your phone you "HAVE" to answer it. I answer what I want and when I want to. I look at the caller id, if its unknown I hit the "ignore" button and go about my business. Like the old nursery rhyme says...leave them alone and they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them. What I'm saying is if they are ignored they don't have an audience. They don't know if they are getting through. If you answer you have removed allf their doubt. Simple. Case closed.

this number came up on my cell phone and has for several days when i looked it up on the pc it said it was from Hamelton Mt.i tried to call it back and it said the mailbox was full for then it scrambeled the name. so it has to be a scam of some kind. wont answer it if they call back

I answered the phone & they called me by name then hung up. When I called it back it said the mail box was full.

OK I called the 1300 and told the guy I was another one of those people that are getting spammed on our cell phones, and asked if I could get taking off the dialer. He said "sure" and asked for my cell number and my name. I gave him a fake name that I have not given before. If anyone calls my cell now and asks for that name, I'll know where they got the number. Let's see if they stop calling me. I'll keep this blog posted.

I called the 406-961-1300 and it was Countrywide. I asked about the hanging up part. They said it was happening if all their customer service reps were busy. THeir system supposedly automatically calls people. And they are supposedly trying to sell magazine subscriptions. Also, I asked how they got my number and this lady from "Countrywide" said that any time you apply for a credit card or a new cell phone company somewhere along the contract there is a section about that company selling your name and phone number to other places such as "Countrywide". So for future notice make sure you read and uncheck any such parts of this said contract. I'm just passing along the answers I got.

I just got my first call from the number 406-961-5388 and I answered, but didn't say anything and they asked for my mom and I don't know why. So I came and looked the number up and found all of the same things! these people need to stop. Like seriously. It was a guy that was talking, sounded 30ish and it sounded like he was in a busy place. I've seen that some of you have filed police reports, but is it really doing anything? Cuz it seems to me like it isn't.
