Danny- Although I do agree with most of what you have written, there are some americans that truly lost good paying jobs and are still working but way below thier usual salary and though they may be a few days late the CC Co. raise the rate making it even more difficult to pay on time, if you pay monthly but are a few days late if you ask them for help they actually say "NO, you are making monthly payments, so therefore you are not considered hardship", so note rate decrease. On top of all this the CC Co. are part of our unemployment problem as they outsource to India and Phillipeans, paying extremely low wages but not passing on any savings to consumers. I am not saying they should not make money but 29% Interest, that is pure greed. Americans that DO NOT want to declare bankrupcy and want to honor thier comitments are finding it more and more difficult. Also when I do go to purchase items that are needed, they are almost always made in another country, again you have American companies paying low wages and taking away American jobs. I think we should cut up any cards that are outsourced, buy nothing unless made in America, take America back and give the opportunities we once had back to our children and generations to come.

Believe it or not you have to actually be way behind in payments before they will make any deals with you. If you had been paying, although late at times, they believe that you are not a hardship case and refuse to help you. They do this after SENDING you a letter offering to help, UNBELIEVABLE!!! They are only fulfilling thier new obligations by offering help, but not providing help. I wish you luck.

They are calling me consistently, and I am not late on my payments. When i do answer the phone, they hang up!

The person they are trying to reach is not at this number. They start at 8am, and continue calling every 15-20 minutes until 11pm, for the last 2 weeks.

CHASE calls me on my cell, while am in school, even at WORK!! I don't believe that calling me 15-20 times a day will help them get their money faster. I told the lady, "Didn't you call yesterday?!". "Well I am just as broke today as I was yesterday!" Their stategy doesn't work. It only stresses you out with the annoying phone calls.I have programed their number into all my phones to a "silent" ring-tone. And it's working

They are harassing me night and day

very spooky! just started getting these calls out of the blue to both my cell and my office number. i didn't answer the calls for several days (i kept receiving calls for that long), and then when i finally picked up, i got hung up on. i was so freaked out, i blocked the calls.

I have MS and do not like to be called at 8:30 on Saturday. These people get the same reply from me every...You are now dealing with NovaDebt..Bugger off

Chase called me 17 times on Saturday, and 14 times on Sunday. Luckily I had left my cell phone at work and I didn't have to listen to it ring all day. We moved in May, and I have made several attempts to get them to update my address and send me a bill. I kept sending payments via bill pay, because I knew I had a debt. Then I get a bill forwarded to me from my old address that shows my new interest rate is 30%. I have been a Chase customer for years without any problems until this. I called them and they said that they would go by the contract and didn't care that I had been a good customer for many years. I asked them to change my address, and they said it had to be in writing, which I did. Still have not received a bill. So I haven't sent them a payment since August. Now they call, and will not change the address or send me a copy of the invoices. So frustrating. I will continue to send them my old payment, under the 11% interest rate until they figure it out. I hate the volume of calls though.

Chase collection people...I have blocked this number...works GREAT...Hope it pisses them off as much as they have pissed me off in the past...Turned them over to Novadebt...Don't think they wanted to hear that and I am now very happy...Done to them as they have done to me, but in reverse...
