Sorry folks but it's also AOL with a spoofed message too. Mine gave some long number and said AOL but the response was to long for my messaging and started late on the recorder. So I gave it a proper burial...blocked!
This is YAHOO giving a verification code for a new email I had set up. This is/was a legitimate call for me.
Due to caller ID spoofing (faking) maybe not. You cannot trust an incoming call is who they say they are.
I've been called from this. number many times I never answer but. Is annoying receive calls from unknown numbers
Received a call from this number at 7:32 am today. The caller id said "San Jose, CA". I answered it because I have friends in CA and thought it might be them. It was an automated recording that sounded like the "this is Rachel from card services" type callers. I hung up right away when I realized it was a recording.
This truly is Yahoo service giving you a security code for you to gain access to your email account. Depends on what is registered with them, whether they call, email, our text the code to you. If it's an unwanted call, either someone had your number from gawd knows when, or.... check your Yahoo account bc someone is trying to use your account. Peace
my phone is reset so i type the email and password but they ask me a verification code that oftenly when i log in i thiught it is right but i say the no. in google its is scary they can use our account in yahoo directing the code to their phone. the yahoo must know about it and inform us what is real.
