This is indeed a code verification call from Yahoo. They call or text the code when you are setting up a new email account.
To sign into AOL which I did not request. All this and it was at 3AM my time and I was asleep.
It's not spam or a scam. It's yahoo sending a verification code when creating an account. Someone entered the wrong phone number when they created their yahoo account.
