I just started getting these calls as well. I tried emailing them at questions@arbitron.com (from an email address I never use) to get them to cease and desist.I think everyone who receives these annoying calls should send Abritron an annoying letter or post card ... with postage due that they have to pay if possible.Here is there address with some a-hole's name who you are supposed to write:Chris JohnsonArbitron Ratings9705 Patuxent Woods Drive Columbia, MD 21046-1521 Or call them from an upspecified phone number ... their number:1-800-638-7091

I sent Arbitron an email to questions@arbitron.com and requested they remove my phone number as I was not interested in taking any type of survey. Within 15 minutes, I got the following reply:-------------------------------------------------------Thank you for contacting us with your concern. Per your request, we have removed your number ***-***-**** from our current survey. We have also placed this number on Arbitron's "Do Not Call" list, which should prevent this number from being selected any time in the near future for any Arbitron projects. Please allow 24 hours for the system to update.We regret any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of any calls regarding the Arbitron Ratings survey. As a company we place a premium on respect and professionalism.Yours,Sam Roberts---------------------------------------------------------------NOTE: I would highly suggest you send Arbitron an email from an email address you don't (or never) use that much to avoid SPAM.

sick people behind this number,they just nonstop calling!

Very bad phone reception but make no mistake, the recorded message included the "F" word. Guy must have recorded it from home, and thinks it's a great sales pitch (must have had a few too many beers making that judgement) I will definitely repport this one to the FCC. There must be a law about sending obscene solicitation calls.

I've gotten a few of these calls too. I actually spoke with two different people at two different times and told them that I didn't have the time for this type call and I would appreciate no further calls. I've noticed this number calling after hours and when I didn't answer, didn't leave a message. So it seems they will continue to call until you take the survey. Well, I've sent this problem to one of our local news teams to let them know what's going on out here so that they can investigate and warn people of these calls. Let's hope they can get the right attention drawn to this problem so that this company will stop this practice.

These numbers keep calling but my number is connected to a fax, I am sure they get annoyed each and everytime. I am not bothered but I am sure it ticks them of jajajjajajajaja.Bring it on.....no ringer ....jajajajajaja

They called my house at 7:41 a.m. The girl says" Hi, sorry to call you so early but I've been trying to contact you all week". I told her to never call my home that early and hung up.

Yup, got a dollar in the mail, the letter said somethinng about radio. Haven't answered the call. Probably won't now. Eventually they quit if the number is never answered. Just like if you ignore or trash e-mails they usually quit.Do not answer it. Then be patient.
