First off you people have no clue to what you are even crying about. Never have I heard people whine and [***] as much as you people down in the States. And if you are going to [***] please get your facts straight. Fact one: Most of you are being contacted from a call center in Canada where I used to work. Were Canadians trying to make a buck, to go to school, to feed our kids, to pay the bills etc. We don't have a lot of options where we are so we take what we can get. So the next time they call, pick up your phone, not because your interested but for the simple fact that your helping us. Helping us cloth our kids, pay for our rent etc. And by the way were all Chris Johnson when we call, we all use the same name. Chris Johnson does not exist. Fact 2: If you people actually pick up your phones they wouldn't call as much. But U don't cause U Americans get like 30 calls a day and couldn't be bothered meanwhile our livelihoods are at stake here based on your whims. Fact 3: We do not get your numbers from a phone book, they are randomly generated by a computer, so it does not matter if your number is unlisted, it was randomly generated, it be the same if I was to write random numbers off the top of my head on a piece of paper. Fact 4: and I love this part : This is NO valid company that calls at 7:00 am in the morning and 9:30 at night. Report them to the Maryland Attorney General and get them stopped.[***] - legally we are allowed to call til 9.30 pm and yes we can start early in the morning as well , there called an early hit and a late hit, meaning we tried to reach you during normal hours but since you Yanks wont pick up the phone we try to reach you then, in the hoped maybe U just live a different lifestyle then the rest of us. Fact 5: some dummy mention the do not call law, survey research is not affected by the do not call law, get it through your head people. The do not call law applies to sales calls not survey research. And its our job to rebutt you twice when U decline to help us because our stats show 20% of people who said no the first time say yes the 2nd. Simple averages. Fact 6: and finally if you are going to agree to do the survey then do it and mail it back, dont [***] say yes just to get us of the phone and stop with the lame excuses, liek I am eating dinner or you woke me up, people we all have lives take 3 mins help us out and stop the bitching.

Too many calls Excruciatingly annoying ! I blocked. There should be a law against solicitations such as this! Lets start a Petition !

Arbitron. They call and call and call and when you tell them how many times they have called and you have said your not interested the woman kept talking right over me. This has been going on for two weeks now. I finally went to Do Not Call registry and registered them, so far I have 4 logged but I'm logging EVERY CALL. They may be exempt but they should no that harrassment isn't the way to get people to do what you want.

Sounds very suspicious, why would anyone in their right mind want to receive such a thing considering the kind of would we currently are living in with so many suspicious people lurking in the telephone, on the streets, in our schools. I say Block everyone you do not know!

Got 5 calls from them in a period of 2 days... VERY ANNOYING!!!! PLUS, for those that said it is because you are in the phonebook (you are wrong). My number is unlisted and is on the DOT NOT CALL list. BUT, they call over and over...It is lame how the DO NOT CALL LIST only covers people that are "selling" something and does not include surveys and "charities" (most often scams)...It needs to include ALL of them...
