Scam claims of fraud using my SSN ,I'll be servierd with sommons

I must have received a hundred calls from "Card Services" over the last few years. I now keep a very loud and shrill whistle by the phone and purposely push the "talk to an agent" choice. I actually had one of the "agents" (my polite translation for a-holes) get combative with me on the phone afterwards. Most time they just hang up but this guy couldn't believe I had the nerve to blow a whistle into the phone. One of these days we'll be able to trace the company doing this by locating a serge in hearing aid sales.

I get calls and then no one speaks when I say Hello. Line appears to be open until I hang up.

The biggest problem is our legal system.THINKING about committing a crime is NOT a crime.These thieves know that.Only AFTER you have been ripped off is it a crime.Then its toooo late.

Should the cops bust down doors cause we are bothered? hope they don't spoof your number. all of these scams are illegal, I wish they would stop too but I don't want the cops wasting their limited resources on something that is only an irritation.
