The phone that I pay a pretty price for has become my nightmare. I can no longer answer my phone when it rings...unless of course I know who the caller is. This number called me at 8:35 PM so they are not even respecting the 8 PM limit on telemarketers. I am so sick of them. I am saving my pennies to buy a telephone that allows me to block as many numbers as necessary - at least 100 or more. Verizon has a feature called "do not disturb". It's great except none of my friends can reach me. Verizon puts a limit of only 10 numbers that can be blocked. We all know that's not enough. The DO NOT CALL registry is a joke. I suggest everyone call the FCC and do whatever it takes to speak to a live agent and report all the abusive calls you are getting. Maybe if they are inundated with complaints, they will do something. NJ where I live is considering a law with penalties for these moron callers but that's not enough. They are stealing my time and my telephone number and I believe they should be in jail.

How many times do you have to ignore the call before they give up. So much for the Do Not Call list.

Received and answered call at 9:45 a.m. No one replied.

Robo call offering me a free cruise if I take a short survey. I hung up. I guess the pretense of a "survey" is their attempt to circumvent a violation of the do-not-call list. I can only imagine the strings attached or credit-card scams people could get themselves into if they were duped by this offer. Stay away from these things!

Phone all from 414-232-5011 April 2014 at 1044 Am. Please do something to stop this type of calls. I do not pick up if I do not know the number.

Actually, here's a good one. My mom used to be a landlady for Mormon missionaries, and so when she'd get a telemarketer, one of them would take the call and start asking them questions to find out what they knew about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. It was a riot! :-D

No one ever answers when you say hello

No message. I recommend everybody get the new Panasonic phone that blocks 250 numbers and all callers who hide their numbers. It works great and saves your temper. You can turn off the ringer so those Private Caller jerks never annoy you. I've written Panasonic and suggested they allow you to block entire Area Codes on their next phone.

The only purpose of the "free cruise" scammer's calls, is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!
