I have gotten several calls from Greg Sobolewski with HNE castings. I thought this was the real deal. I sent him my 5-6 photos and then he asked me for $288.75. I haven't sent anything yet. I dunno if this is a scam or not. That is what i'm trying to find out. I dont wanna lose this chance. I dont want to get hurt either. He is a fast talker. I have asked him to slow down and repeat information back to me in some of our calls. Does anyone know what I should do?

I, too, entered my info on the HNE casting web-site. I had written "watch me on you tube and you will understand why I need a make-over". He called after seeing it and I sent the 5-6 pics and he told me I had to get cards printed and that I could use his guy, or do it on my own. He said "Don't use Kinkos or Staples because they do a crappy job; get a professional."When I called back to use his guy I said I would bounce if I gave the money before Thursday. He got all concerned and said "Gee, I really want to help you but that would take too much time" and I said, "well, if I had it done myself wouldn't it take a couple of days anyway?" to which he repleid" Uh..Yeah..well..it depends on how fast they turn it over..but..you know what..I really want to work with you..so..Okay..I'll ask my friend who I work for...he owes me a favor....". A couple of minutes on hold and then he got back on the line and said "You're in luck!"and also "I appreciate your honesty...others will just lie and say they have the money and then not call back. I really appreciate working with someone who is honest." That's when I pictured several scenes from movies, like the telephone scammers in "Matchstick Men", or William H. Macy running a line of bull to a customer. I thought,"I bet he's pressing the hold button and counting to twenty or getting a coffee." I then googled his name and found this blog. I haven't done anything yet, and I wonder if I do the printing myself, will he help me get the job, or will he end up asking for the money for some other purpose? I'm still kind of hoping that it's true; I got my hopes up when I thought I could get a make-over. He complemented my talent, and said I would be good for all kinds of shows.I am truly bummed out!

I just got off the phone with him.Same number 1-416-628-8232 Rick Daniels.I am a mother of two, just lost my sister and had a miscarriage.I applied to be on extreme makeover in hopes to get my body back,lift my spirits and try to feel better about myself and enjoy my next 30yrs.When I received the email from him,I was so happy and excited I was crying,thinking that my dream was going to come true and my prayers were answered.Because being a mother of two,unless we win the lotto I will NEVER be able to afford plastic surgery.He called me this afternoon,I spilled my guts to this man telling him every flaw on my body and what I would like fixed.Then he brought up this "media kit" and told me to email him 5-6 headshots and 5-6 body shots and to call back tomorrow morning and have a credit card ready. I talked to my husband and even though we couldn't afford the 300 he agreed to let me do it because he knew how bad I wanted it.After I hung up with my husband I decided to google Mr Daniels to make sure this wasn't a scam (I google everything before spending a dime-try it before you buy it,etc,everything because every dime matters to us) After reading all of this,I cried again,this time not tears of joy.I feel so stupid and most of all VIOLATED,I gave this man every humiliating detail of my body,he must of been laughing at me.And I almost had my husband take pictures of my body and all its flaws to send to this stranger.Now I am just really p****d off!!!And I am now on a mission to stop this man from making one more person feel the way that I do.Its wrong.I am going to write ABC and the producers of the show and whoever will listen to me and try to put a stop to these scum!! If you feel the same way,you should do it too.Together we might be able to get it done.I am only one voice,but the more people that speak up,the more voices.We will be heard,someway somehow by someone.
