Today is April 6, 2008 and this exact thing just happened to me, too."I understand you want to make extra money?"When I told him that I hadn't given my phone number to International Travel Brokers, he said, "Fine. Your loss. I guess you don't want to make extra money.""Bye." and I hung up.When I looked up the company on Google, I called their office, and they said that they didn't make calls like that. He said he would file a complaint with the police, but somehow I doubt that.What IS this?

This number has called me a million times, today i lost it and told them not to call me anymore adn maybe through in some bad words. Then the woman called me back again, and i asked what this was in reference to and she told me she didnt want to get cussed out again, and she would call back later. they are drivingme crazy!!!!! ive also called the number back and got a voicemail, which i have left a message for them not to call me. its nice to know its not just me. thanks for in the info

I HAVE ALSO HAD 3 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY. 4/7/08 I NEVER DID ANSEWER IT. BUT CALLED BACK AND IT SAID IT WAS ANITA'S VOICE MAIL.BUT IF I KEEP GETTING CALLS. I WILL FIND THE WAY TO REPORT THEM.AND HAVE THE POLICE GO GIVE THEM A VISIT.I WAS VERY SURPRISED TO FIND ALL YOU PEOPLE HERE. WHEN I GOOGLED THIS NUMBER.JUST CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

Wow, I was amazed to see this forum. I never answer unknown numbers, and for some reason decided to google this one. I can't believe that someone is doing this! I called it back and got Annette's voicemail with a different number as well. Has anyone called the other number to find out what it is? Just called it again and now I got Linda's voicemail with 8182061799. Called that number and it was a guy named Mike's voicemail. WTF is going on?

Yeah same here, someone from this phone keeps calling me...so fare it was twice today...and everytime i answer it is dead silence, and no one answers on the other line????? Who the heck is this and what is going on????

Ugh, I just got called AGAIN. I told the guy that I knew it was a scam and that he should stop calling me, hung up on him, only to be called back again. I didn't answer it that time. He said his name was Michael and that he was the manager of the company someone posted above. ITB? Anyway, I'm calling that company right now. Normally I'd just ignore it but since I know they are spamming people, I might as well report it.

Yeah this phone number called me 3 times (so far) today. Called them back & was Annetts VM with 8182061799 phone number. I left them a message...played Buck Cherry's CRAZY [***] for them to listen to. Hope they enjoy it!!

Asked for my minor child by first name. When asked who was calling, he replied "James" (deep voice). Told him he had the wrong number.Called the following day by (801) 642-0241- same scenario - "Angela" calling. Gave her an earful & said I was reporting this # to the FTC.Someone we know had a call on his cell from 415 area code claiming he owed them or someone money. When pressed for their name, company, and phone number, they hung up.These scenarious convince me it's a scam or identity thieves. I also found out there is something called a Spoofcard that you can buy to dial in to this service and display any phone # on someone's caller id. That could explain the legitimate companies that are unaware someone is using their number.
