I received a call from this number two times today. My phone number is a completely private, unlisted number and the only people who have it are close friends and family. So if the caller id has a number I don't recognize, I'll answer the phone and if they ask for me and I don't know who it is, I'll tell them that I'm unavailable (I won't say me, but she's unavailable) and I'll try to take a message. I did that both times they called today and the first time it was a guy and he hung up on me. The second time was a lady and she said she'd call back later. After she hung up, I called the number back and received a message stating that the number is not in service, but it was recorded in that same lady's voice. What the hell is going on????
I got a call from them too. I kept on getting calls similar to this one last summer. I did some research and found out that when this happens its people trying to get personal information from you so that they can steal your identity. I can't confirm that this what this number is but if you do talk to someone, DO NOT GIVE OUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!! You can file a police report if needed.
