I called vince on 416-630-1944 and asked for my number to be rmvd. hope it works. Seemed like a polite person.
Yes, they keep calling representing the idiotic Toronto Sun. The guy's name is not really Vine anyway I bet. Thank-you government of canada for giving an exemption to newspapers since newspapers have been #1 telemarketers to my house for the last 10 years!
Hello' I have recieved 3 calls so far so dont't pick cause I heard they make money from people that pick up these calls. How I dk but do not pick up the phone!!! It's a scam!!! too many people ripping people off these days to make a dollar..very sad.
I keep getting calls on my cell 3 or 4 times a day. The caller ID says NWS PAPER CALL, Pho 1-416-630-2172. I'm getting fed up with this. I dont answer it. Please get these jerks to stop
Hi,I Just Got That Call From 1-416-630-2172 But I was Talking With Someone Else...So I couldn't Pick It Up...
I got this call from 416-630-2172 but I was on my other phone so i did not answer. when i googled the number i was suprised to see all this info. I hope this is the only call as i leave my phone on 24/7. I thought i was on the do not call list, and this would not happen. I'll have to double check. what a waste, of my money, as i do not want to have to pay to block this number.
sigh, I have been getting these calls daily for the last week.I just tried the 630-1944 number and they said they don't know anything about it.
I got the telemarketing call from a faint voice on the other end telling me they were confirming 26 weeks of newspapers which I don't want. I asked her to repeat due to noise and poor line quality and she hung up on me. With all the uncertainty I called back to find out which newspaper it was and found it was the call center and the voice mail was full. I spent 30 minutes redialing since they had just called me. Finally I thought I would just type in the number and I have found out that they are well known. I called the alternate number for Vince Iani and left my message hopefully to be taken off the list. thanks to those who have posted here.
i emailed my phone service provider (bell) at executive.office@bell.ca and basically told them to make my number private and that i was commencing legal action.i then forwarded that same email to S. Hastings at shastings@nationalpost.com for the National Post telling him I was taking all necessary actions regarding legal action. I told him if I received another phone call, I would be going to court. That was on January 22, 2008.I haven't rec'd one call since then.
