Hello, I have been getting a call from some girl and is very rude to my gf and this person asked for me and I am not even registered to the address.let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you all for your comments. In order to stop this person/people from calling - if you actually speak to them, find out if they are calling regarding the Toronto Sun. If so, which is so in the majority of cases, then tell them you are calling The Toronto Sun head office and placing a complaint unless they take you off their list immediately.I would then call the Toronto Sun head office and report the situation to them there in order to stop the harrassing calls. As well, if you are on the do not call list for Ontario, you definitely have a case of harassment and should report this to them as well, as these people are obtaining your number from a general list of names and numbers they purchased.

Call came in at 6.56pm Wed. Feb. 18/09 from 416-630-2172.I'm on the DNC list, but still get calls. I have the misfortune to have inherited a phone number which belonged to a deadbeat, so I always let callers I don't recognize go to voice mail, but they didn't leave a message.Also have problem of repeat calls from 866-294-1752 as well, again no message left.

I receieved calls from 416-630-2172 and told it was from the Toronto Sun Newspaper. I called the Toronto Sun at 416-947-2222 and spoke with Rob Sproule who handles the telemarketing complaints. He told me that my telephone number will be taken off their list and when I asked off whom did they get my number from he told me a Bell Canada broker had sold my number to them.Interesting enough prior to this I had complained to National Do Not Call List who told me that newspapers are not included and are free to call you. Nice my telephone company sells my telephone number to a newspaper telemarketer because they are exempt from the National Do Not Call List.

i just recieved a phone call from that number...i dont even live in toronto. i didn't answer it, i never do if i dont no who it is but iim sure they will call back. it came up newspaper call cn than the same number.these ppl need to be stopped im so sick of getting harassed everyday from stupid telemarketers. this number has only called me once so far but ive had plenty of others calling me from weird numbers, it almost makes me not even want a phone anymore!

Over and over, every day, telephone from 416-630-2172. Nice thing is with call display, I let it go by as missed call. If this is from any business there is no way I would consider their service or product now.

Mar/17/09 - 10:10am, 416.630.2172 keeps calling my number. When you pick up all you hear is a high pitch screeching sound, no voice. It's annoying and whomever it is should be stopped.

Well, luckily I didn't answer the call and read your comments.They called today 26 March, 2009.

Poor you.. its not the call center's fault you work those hours.. Are they supposed to be clairvoyant?
