hi they call my house all the time too. I HATE telemarketers. i have called back two of the numbers and told them to take my number off their damn list. could these ppl take a hint, and get lost?!
For over two weeks I had not received a single solitary telemarketer phone call....i was over joyed and then the next day.....they started to call with a vengeance...onw call then two then three....now i am getting 3 to 4 calls a day (i guess they must be making up for the 2 or so weeks they missed at my home) and one of the numbers is in fact 416-630-2172...its kinda like they heard my saying that i haven't got any telemarketer calls in two weeks, so they decided to screw me there...

Toronto Star. Told them to stop calling. Again. The Do Not Call list only works with CMA members. Not all telemarketing firms are members, though the majority are.
i complained to The Star, they said they would stop, and still they called me yesterday at 9pm and today pm.
I kept getting phonecalls trying to get me to subscribe to the Toronto Star so I ended up just emailing the newspaper directly. They asked for my phone number and put me on their Do Not Call list. We'll see from now on if it works or not. Fingers crossed.
Its a call centre for newspaper subscriptions - they called me for The National Post.Received the call at 2pm.Just ask for them to take you off their marketing list.
