Automated call from a bill collector calling the wrong number

I was not home...My daughter received a call from this number. Her name was Brandi. She led my daughter to believe it was an emergency and my husband or I needed to call as soon as possible.

Called me at work asking for my son. When I asked who I might tell him called, she said "Sandy, a friend". Didn't think she was telling the truth. Thanks for the info.

These people are obnoxious. They do not care about the circumstances that they recieved your case. I will never pay the bill to them. If the company that I have dealings with won't take my money, then it won't get paid.

Lady, "Debra Jones" called my sister-in-law to find me...Ms Jones was not unpleasant but would not tell her anything. We are all in our eighties and have no idea what this is about.

I just got a call on my cell phone. I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. This was the message I got. "Hey Chels! This is Debra, give me a call, my number is 417-627-7990." If I didn't know better I would have thought she was a long lost friend. It's a good thing I don't know anyone named Debra!!

This is a collection agency based in Joplin, Missouri--Midwest Collection Services or something similar. They called our house for an eight year old bill from Great Southern Bank, they claim my husband owed. Refused to send copies of statements to me unless I send them a stamped, self-addressed envelope because they'd "sent copies in 2006." Basically "Brandy" blamed "her supervisor" for not being able to do anything like send information, or even accept money unless it was arranged in advance. She was, however, perfectly capable of being patronizing and rude without her supervisors help.

I had the same thing. I don't ever answer phone numbers I don't recognize thank goodness because she did the same thing to me. "Hey Rusty, Call me today at 417-627-7990 thank you. She sounds like she knows me personally and was just calling to chat or something.
