receiving multiple calls from this # never leaves a message nor speaks when answered. the cycle repeats sometimes within minutes of each other.

Another call about my "car loan". I don't have a car loan. 5 calls from different numbers, all invalid area codes.

It's not exactly a scam number...unless you mean all payday loans are scams.I did get a ton of calls from it after exploring the wonderful world of payday loans.421 is unused...in the USA...Who is in North America, but not in the USA or Canada?Native Americans. They are sovereign nations. And they have their own area codes. And thanks to casinos, they are sovereign nations with idle cash for profitable enterprises, such as payday loans.I think this one is associated with a tribe in Canada, given that 416 is Toronto.

this number calls each and every morning between 5 and 7 multiple times. when answered, nobody seems to be on the other end. when i try to call the number back it says the number is not in service. i have an elderly father and he's alone now that my mom passed away recently so he calls me between 6 and 7 each morning so i automatically grab for the phone. they call the house phone as well as my husband's cell phone, same thing, nobody there and he ignores the calls and never has a message been left. the phone company told me i could change my number or make a police report and they put a trap on the phone to really find out who is calling but what a hassle. grrrrr.

I have received 3 calls from 421-781-8274 this evening. As everyone has mentioned, VERY strong accent. Says my car loan was approved. How do you get rid of these people? I did not apply for a loan.

This same number just called me and while I'm talking to them, I checked google and type their number to seeif it's a scam. But too late I already gave them my routing and account number. Is there any other way we can get our money back from them?

To be clear, as it is a little confusing...I think it's a Native American company from a Native American sovereign nation, which is surrounded by Canadian territory, using their area code for forwarding calls from an Indian as in India call center.Native American company from a Native American nation. This call is from Ohio. They sound like they are from India. One call came at 9:30 at night. The person argued with me and got loud. He said that I had applied for a loan which I had not done. He was so angry it scared me. How do you find out who they are and put a stop to this?

they called me wanting to know if I wanted to get $1500 ... I told them not to call me anymore...they have called twice and would not say anything... I am going to put a block on all 421 numbers
