Called me 3 times within 48 hours. I didn't answer the phone any of the times, however the one time they did leave a message. All it sounded like was me calling them with the phone ringing and than someone picking up and alot of background noise. It almost sounded like a really busy calling center. Than they hung up. It was really wierd. The part with it ringing like your calling them is exactly what other people are reporting about this number when they answer it. Some poeple are also reporting that they have their personal information such as SS#, DOB, address etc. this makes me suspicious becuase they don't really have a reason to call you if they already have all that information. All they need to do is go apply for a loan, or something. The fact that they are calling with all this information for some people confuses me and makes me believe that they are unable to do anything with this information and still want to you give up your account number or something.

I got 6 calls from this number in one day while I was at work!!!! Got home and they called again so I answered it to see who was harrassing me!!! Some foreign man says I have been approved for a loan that I applied for online! I DID NOT APPLY FOR A LOAN ONLINE!! I started telling him I had not applied and to take my name off his list and he hug up on me!! I am going to see who I need to report this to! I want this stopped!!!

recived several calls and I did not answer as not knowing the number a little reasurch and this is scammers. First thing you need to do is call the FCC the have the right to fine them and close them down, then file a clame withn the FBI as they are scamming across state lines, again they dave they ability to cross state lines for proscution. If we all file complants they will be put away if only to stop complants, remember each call is a new complant, requiring them to chase down each case, in other words more paperwork thuss reason to close the case or bad numbers of nonclosed cases. I keep getting phone calls from this number. I don't answer and they don't leave a voice mail. It's annoying and harassing.

I I have received 3 calls over the last 2 1/2 hrs. One from 421-781-8274 and the other two from 415-358-0679. I didn't pick up any of the calls and they have not left a message. We received a warning from our company that random calls are coming from overseas and they try to get you to call back, or stay on the line when they call and charge you very high rates.

They are only going to call you if you applied for a cash advance online. For everyone that said that they didn't, you're lying. I've got several calls due to me applying online. The internet isn't safe and neither are our homes. Dig yourself a cave and hide for God sake. LOL

Why wouldn't they want to scam us hard working innocent people? It is our government's fault!. Our government pampers and protects all these illegals with our hard working tax money and these lazy illegal foreign idiots are cashing in on it. I am a foreigner and a hard working one at that and a tax paying individual. I had both 431-896-5290 and 421- 781-8274 call me. I don't pick them up unless l recognize the numbers.

^^^^ the person replying above me is an INDIAN SCAMMER (from India) or (or SCAMel jockey as I like to call them) dont worry about it, they come on here and try to mess with you..heres whats REALLY important guys, regardless of what this a**hole says..please read on:I try to respond to as many of these posts on here as I can to spread the word, but I dont get them all so please help me and help spread the word on this website if you can, about these Indian scammers. (just watch the homepage of 800notes.com and look for people asking questions about people who identify themselves in an anglican name ((john smith, Will Turner, a normal american sounding name)) yet sound VOCALLY like their name should be Muqtada Al-Sadr or something similar). These guys are Indian Scammers based in India. They use VOIP or prepaid cellular to make it appear they are in America when they are really not. Unfortunantly the BEST advice I can give you, though its not always feasible, to make this stop is to CHANGE YOUR PHONE NUMBER. Ive been thru this same thing and its the ONLY thing Ive been able to do that actually works. Just wanted to let you guys know and wish you luck in dealing with these scammers! By the way, these guys change their numbers all the time (a frill of using spoofing, VOIP or prepaid) so just because you get a different number DOES NOT mean its real. Stay smart, my friends out in cyberspace..ONLY deal with someone willing to MAIL you!!!

The Gov has no legal jurisdiction over foreign countries so it's senseless to blame the Gov. Why don't you blame the phone companies that make it possible to spoof numbers (421 is an invalid area code)? Why don't you blame big business that brought us opt-out telemarketing (opt-out means any telemarketer can call you unless you tell them to stop and some won't stop) instead of opt-in telemarketing (opt-in means telemarketers cannot call you unless you give them express permission to call) and fought tooth and nail to prevent the DoNotCall Registry from being established?

My cell number is in the National Do Not Call Registry - has been for years. I started getting these calls yesterday around noon and have have 7 calls from 2 different numbers. This really makes me angry. I filed a complaint with the FCC. Somebody has got to make this stop.
