Had 9 calls on my cell phone in less than 24 hours (5 from 421-781-8274, 4 restricted); answered 2 of the calls...1st time, the person on the other end (very broken English) asked how I was and I responded I was fine, then asked how he was and he also said fine. He then mentioned something about $1,500 and I disconnedted the call...the second time I didn't wait for the person to speak first--I simply said "if you call this number again, I'm going to call the police" ,and that seems to have stopped the calls.
This number started calling me yesterday and called twice and now its not even 11am and they've already called 5 times! Same thing as everyone else that's posted: poor English, sounds Indian, and sometimes when I pick up it rings and then someone answers, sounds like they can't hear me and then hang up. I don't know if its better to pick up or not...I'm thinking of calling AT&T and seeing if they can block this number. And ironically, I just put myself on the "no call" list...isn't this illegal then?!!
Its alive and well cause I just got one. Of I don't know the # I don't pick up. If it's important they will leave a message
I consistently receive calls from this number. Since I do not answer un-named caller calls, I do not know who it is.
Six calls from this number in five hours. Never picked up and no messages were left. Obviously another scammer. Sure wish they could be stopped.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
