Call about an overdue payment caused by me being out of town. Explained what happened and full payment was on the way. Late fee and interest removed!
Not a scam for me. Stated they were calling about Best Buy credit card, blah blah blah. Called the number on the back of the card and actually got the same lady that left me the message. It was regarding an attempted purchase at a store, for around $2000, that was declined, 2 months previous. She cancelled the card and ordered me a new card.
This was not a scam call for me. My husband and I were traveling across 6 states in one day and Citibank Fraud called to confirm that the credit card transactions were ours. I didn't give them any personal info, however they provided me with our last 5 transactions and asked us to confirm we had made them.
Caller claimed Citi bank fraud department was calling me to check on a credit card application. I already have two Citi Cards and did not receive a text or email from Citi. So i called Citi and they said they did not contact me and I should report the person who called me.
