I returned the call and ordered my prescription. This was a service call, not a telemarketing call and was legit.
The caller knew my name and said to enter my birthdate. If this is, indeed, CVS, then they should identify themselves in the beginning. I have never gotten a call like this from CVS/Caremark. The always leave a return-call phone number if I do not answer. So I'd say even if it is legit, I would not give them my date of birth without knowing who it is.
Warning!!! Scam!!! Do not return this call. Received a call from 423-822-2465 - chattanooga, tennessee stating they were from caremark and had prescription to fill - wanted us to call 1-877-292-3386, ext 1409005. Called caremark, and this call was not from caremark. Reported to caremark and they are investigating this scam.
CVS got into a lot of trouble in California filling Rx's that people didn't order.Call corporate in Woonsocket , Rhode Island and tell them to stop harassing you with un-named robo-calls.
it was a legitimate call from CVS Caremark pharmacy which I use. It was to remind me that I had a prescription due to be filled.
Got a call from this number 3/29/2017. It was Aetna home Rx delivery (Aetna may have a partnership with CVS) indicating that I have a Rx ready for refill and to call back (on a different number).
Anyone with tech savvy can phishing a phone number and claim to be someone they are not. I would advise against divulging personal info to any caller you do not recognize. The criminals are getting smarter.
The number is legit; it's for CVS Rxs and calling about refilling a almost expire Rx. Unfortunate Caller ID just list "Chattanooga", as I was wary initially.
Yes, CVS and thanks to my health insurance changing prescription service in January I have to live with this intrusion. I don't' need them to remind me of anything. Even my new Panasonic phone will not block the number for some reason. Put in twice, two entries for the same number and it won't block it. Then they leave their "stupid" disclaimer. You just can't win with some of this government sponsored arrogance.

Scam. An attempt to get bank account information and then a request to transfer money to the scammer's account.
I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
