Technically, it's against the law for debt collectors to sue or even threaten to sue you for time-barred debts, that is a debt whose statute of limitations has expired. But, the collector might sue you anyway if it contends that the statute of limitations hasn't passed. Fortunately, if you can provide proof that the statute of limitations on the debt has indeed expired it's likely the case will be dismissed. DON'T CALL THEM OR SPEAK TO ANYONE.. THIS RESETS THE CLOCK, AND YOUR LOOKING AT 3-5 MORE YEARS OF HARRASSMENT. IT'S ALL A BIG SCAM

They get the # from other companies DO not give them any info....They kept asking for my name I said who did you call for they said xxx I said that person does not have this number...Remove # from call list they said they need to contact xxx can you get them a message . I said remove number from call list you are being recorded. They said I know this is xxx . I said you're being recorded...Remove the number....Then let me speak to xxx I said you are harassing this number I am sending a copy of this recording to the BBB and the AG office...they hung up. The next day they called again I answered with : we have been receiving harassing calls from this number all futures calls will being recorded..they hung up.

I just got a call from the 425-562-3215 number. Stated that they were from my cc company. They asked me to confirm my identity...(u..NO WAY)...asked them to confirm who they were by providing my account number, bank and SS # -well of course they couldn't ...I asked for a Supervisor...she also couldn't. I ended the call by telling them that I would be calling and notify my local FBI office.Oh, let me put on my surprise face...dead air...please don't ever give your info unless they can verify your contact info and account info. Thanks for letting me vent.I did a revers look up of the number - restricted. I called it back and the recording say; A R SolutionsBest of luck out there - remember, the FBI will tell you if the number is on their HOT list.

A recording comes on with an English accent saying, "This is Kelly Smith...a debt collector for ER Solutions" Their call back number is 800-477-5451.

I'm sorry to hear about your cancer first of all...I've lost 2 parents to it..but bill collectors are like roaches. No matter what you do, or the situation you're in..they don't care they just want their money. I keep getting call from this number and someone finally left a message...and I'm not even the person their looking for. I'm myself am in debt and have collectors calling me all the time, I've had 3 surgeries done on my hands and I'm still constantly going back to the Dr., so right now I'm not working And I actually tried to explain this once and the lady actually asked me if I wanted her to break out the violin....That was rude and not to mention uncalled for. So I gave her a taste of her own medicine...called her a ruthless unprofessional b----, and told her when I get a job, I'll pay my debts and hung up the phone. If more people were understanding of other people and their situations...the world would be a better place. No one intentionally want to be in debt, situations happen where it can't be helped sometime. Hope everything goes well for you.
