I have been getting the same spam this afternoon. I went to T-mobile store, called T-mobile, and online chat for Tech support, but they cannot do anything. I still get the text message. OMG~~ help!
i have received several messages from this number, it is so annnoying, can u stop please.
I've been receiving non-stop messages from this # to the point it filled my memory.How do I make it stop?
Just spoke to Tmobile and they've gotten an absurd amount of complaints from customers today regarding these spam messages. DO NOT OPEN THESE MESSAGES, just delete them as soon as you receive them. You will not be charged for these messages, they know it is a fradulent number, you will be reimbursed for any messaged you have opened. They cannot, at this time, block the number or trace where they're coming from, but hopefully it'll be resolved soon.
Please for heaven sake stop calling! Waste of my time looking at this stupid messages. NonsensE!!!!
Just got off phone with a savvy T-Mobile CSR first, and then (after 9 minutes' wait) a Tech Support person, who has created a trouble ticket for this problem.We concluded these are almost certainly texts, NOT e-mails, so the method I tried earlier and Jenny just described will probably NOT work. Those filters go live in close to real time, so it should be working for me, but I'm still getting the messages.Unfortunately, it looks like we have only two options: Live with it & delete every one of the damn texts, or switch off all incoming texts for a day or so. :( Which is probably what I will have to do. :( :(But at least she understands the problem fully, and I insisted that she put this 800notes.com thread into the trouble ticket so the techs can read all of our comments and understand that it's not just a single person but a whole bunch of us.best, jv.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.
