Have been getting texts all day from jpm.com which are really through e-mails, spoke to my carrier(T-Mobile) and they are blocking the e-mails from this company on my phone. They said that all the phone companies have been getting hit with this spam. My company is looking into it, I have been credited for the calls. They were very helpful. I say if you are able to block your e-mails from this company then do it, if not, call your carrier!
just got off phone with t-mobile--had to insist on a supervisor as the first imbecile told me it was not their problem and that my only recourse was to chnge my number o rblock all textas--that is unacceptable obviously and i told t mobile they have to take responsibility for this.as i am on a per text plan it is costing me money as well.
I get tons of the messages. I went to the t-mobile site and set up email blocks to the phone. i also set up a filter that said if an email with JPM-ESF was in the subject to forward that email to jpm-esf@jpm.com (and to not send it to my handset).Also - EVERY TIME THEY DO THIS YOU NEED TO FILE A REPORT WITH THE FCC. Just Google FCC complaint and you will be able to find the correct online form to file a complaint of unwanted communication to your wireless phone. The point is we need to do this EVERY TIME THIS NUMBER CONTACTS US - no matter how many times. Is it time consuming? YES. Will they eventually make it stop if we flood them with complaints. YES.
I *really* don't want to block ALL e-mails! I use my phone for business. Just want *these* ones to stop.I'm very worried about Melissa's note that this is only happening to people who have JP Morgan (or Chase) debit cards, which I do.Is there anyone who has received these messages who is NOT a customer of JP Morgan or Chase?

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
