Got a call from this number claiming they can lower my interest rate. I dont even have a credit card. Never have. Total scam!!!!
Slim, my MP number has never been used; only my landline number is used ;and my blocker will block up to 750 numbers and entire area codes. I am a stickler for security.
Yes, I read the entire post. Maybe they just got around to mynumber stack. I have had my landline since 1971 (same number thru three area codes. All they have to do is get an area code and all the number prefixes in that area code and ask the computer to random dial. It will dial all combinations of numbers indefinitely. I have been lucky in that my landline was not interrupted until 3 years ago when I took it off private. Until then I had no unknown calls ( from 1971 until 2012). Just lucky guess.
Received two calls from this number yesterday, 7/7/15, which I missed both. Called back said press 1 to no longer receive calls. So pressed 1 now received another call but from different number. Scammers! Blocked both numbers and from the way these are going around probably have plenty more to block!
Told them I don't do business over the phone. Told them to mail me info to the address on record (knowing they didn't have one). They hung up.
Just received call too. There was no message left and they called my cell phone. Scammers.
Called. left no message, called it back because no info on internet about it and got a message" to be removed from list press 1" scammer
