NP...Nurse PractitionerPA ...Physician AssistantWhat is a "Medical Practitioner ? No such title ...No such position ...NP and PA are NOT able to write RX's for narcotics ... RX must be written and signed by a Medical Doctor. Not "rubber stamped" with his/her name.
This is for BARBARA....SORRY Barbara....What I wrote was meant for Orgona. Somehow it wound up on one of your posts.
I cant agree more. I had to investigate to see what My elderly mother was required to have as far as medicare. Care improvement plus has been trying to scare/threaten my mother into buying supplemental drug coverage. They lie and told me it was law. She says they wont stop calling her. I am so fed up with insurance companies of all kinds, They are the real terrorist of this country. Company's legally holding us up w/o a gun..Insurance companys are lower than politicians. Cant wait till that idiot obama is out of office before he screws us out of more money.
Yea, we got the same call. Sorry to say, but I'm not too sure if they were in the US (if you know what I mean) Mom never got a letter in the mail telling us about this so-called "annual" prescription drug overview. She's been living with me for almost 5 years and we've never got anything like this in the mail. They just called and I basically told the guy, "if you want to know what drugs my mom is taking, I'm sure UHC has that information since they're paying for them." I hung up on them. I would NEVER give any information over the phone regarding personal medical information. I think it's a scam.
Some one called a while back saying that they were from Medicare and they need info, OH HECK NO!!!! DON'T EVER GIVE PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE EVER OVER THE PHONE!!!!I called Medicare and explained that is was not them, they will never call us in that fashion, and the number would never start with this area code. Don't remember.ALSO! I BETTER NOT SEE A THOUSAND DOLLAR A MINUTE ON MY PHONE BILL, because I called it back, then realized this then hung up. Right now I'm going to call the real AARP........ They would had called me from area code (928) Az where I live.
