the phone number 1-449-515-1879 calls but hangs up after i answer. when i call back it says the number i am tryin to reach is incorrect.
I received a call from said number and when i answer they don't say anything. I called it back and got a recording saying it was no longer in service.
I received a call today from this number - 449-515-1879 on my cell and I answered the person will not identify himself but had my personal information and was very rude. When I called back that number it is not a working number. It is definitely a scam and somehow they are getting hold of some personal information.
Received several calls. When I answered the man with a broken english accent said that i applied for a car loan.When I told him I did not apply because I had no money, he said that he would give me some money if I would f###k him. I told him to f##k himself and hung up.
Receiving a bunch of these calls today. Sound middle-eastern, broken English. Claiming I applied for a car loan. Obvious scam. Reported to Do-Not-Call. Fourth time, different number today.
He has called our house several times today, first stating that my wife applied for a payday advance, then called back stating he would come F*** her, and she better be ready. Freaked her out somewhat, we called the police, however he is using a spoofer to clone the number, that is why you get no ring back.If he calls me again I will work further on tracking him down.
I RECEIVED A CALL TODAY FROM THIS NUMBER ABOUT A CAR LOAN AS WELL, THERE WAS MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND AND SOMEONE I DIDNT APPLY FOR ANY CAR LOAN AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME.RECENTLY I REGISTERED ONLINE WITH SOME JOB AGENCIES, LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB, EVER SINCE, IVE BEEN GETTING CALLS.
I am receiving calls from this number as well as others. I google all numbers and they come up with the same info....Man with an accent saying people are approved for loans and no one can call themback.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
