got 2:30 a.m. call from 469-464-9384. Didn't answer so rang and rang till stopped. Woke everybody up. On DNC list.....how to stop these jerks?

Also received a call from this number at 4:30 am on sunday 1/27/13. What can be done about something like this. It is very un-nerving to get a call at that time of the morning. When i answered they hung up.

do not call tem back or answer. when you do our number is added to a call list as a valid number, and then you get all inds of calls from other businesses that bought the call list with your number on it. just ignore it if you fell the test possibly your number will not be used by them anyway.

found out this # is serviced from Lewisville, Texas, north- above Dallas and the Co number shown has a name: Bandwath.com. It is one of those cell phone company businesses were people can purchase a cell in a store, like wall mart of a convience store, to be used by people who buy a phone, because they can not either get a real service, or are doing illegal use with it, like a dope deal etc.... The phones are like the kind you can buy in any discount or super store except it has a fixed set of land numbers tied to it, so Att and all others alow it, because it is legal use. The rights to use the land line numbers are then owned by a ligit business company like this one called Bandwidth.com. They are a Co with a cellular Federal Contract and they bought the right to own a cell contract from the FCC. The frequences or group of frequences they then have rights to use are granted by all major carriers.. Next the Company purchases some cheep Chineese dock offs and places then in ligit stores for any person to buy and use. The purchasers then avoid using their real ligit phone service, or worse they are illegals and can not get a phone, like a sprint or an att line because the have no legal ID or address- But , need a phone for what ever purpose. Illegal Businesses also use them, so they can not trace the real owners. In Tenn. the Police are trying to abolish those type of phones to stop this kind of thing. Thank the Congress and Senate for allowing this and labeling this legit Business Practice, due to lobby monies, and politicans on the take. This company- Bandwidth.com - does not mind you looking them up and calling them, to them they think they have a legit business with good pratices! But, the answer is usual, and predictable and nothing gets done. so again ignore the number,nothing can be right or come from good with all callers like this. Be carefull, thanks for the read. Jon
